All right..mmm… oh, yes! I was thinking about music. Not very long ago in a far away planet we used to sing in for a music internet based service to look for a song – f.e. Goear, Last FM, etc, etc, etc…-

The world belong to the lazy though. The job is already done for you. So.., you have a couple of pages you can choose to make it all easier for you. First one is: Saber Inglés. These Argentinian guys are absolutely amazing.

Apart from including plenty of resources on any topic about English learning, you can just choose a song, open their link to the Youtube video and job done: you are reading the lyrics and watching the video in another tab at the same time. Of course, every song include extra practice and activities that you can apply in class.
Did you know that you can find songs in Youtube with the lyrics already dubbed in the screen? Subingles divides the songs into different categories and languages. You can listen to the songs and read at the same time.

Once again you can do exercises or look up words in a dictionary or read the lyrics straight from the web.
I’ll talk about my favourite now.: Lyrics training is a web site where you can watch video clips from Youtube. This time you do not have the lyrics inside the screen but below. The lyrics contain gaps that you have to fill in.

If you fail or type the wrong word, the recording stops immediately and you can either skip the word or take another try. It also divides the songs acording to the degree of difficulty.
We always think of music in terms of quizzes, fill in the gaps or reading comprehension questions but I think you have to innovate from time to time. I suggest a project about the different versions of a song. I found the perfect site for this: Second hand songs is a site where you can find out who sang a song for the first time and how many versions it had since then.
